bebegracie Username/Diary Title [4/5] - bebegracie - It sounds sweet & innocent & makes me want to hug you. I like it because it reminds me of my girlfriend, Heather. If it didn't you would probably be yelled at for being wimpy & adorable. So, thank my absent-minded, snuggly friend. The Eye Of The Storm - I can understand why someone would use this as a diary title & I think that is my reason for not particularly favoring it. It seems like something a lot of people would use, although as far as I can recall, I've never seen it before. It just doesn't seem very original to me. Sorry. First Impression [12/10] - Wow. I clicked your link & got thrown into a swirling abyss of pink & pictures. I love it! It's obviously self-made, so extra points for who? YOU! I love pictures & it seems very personal. I like things that are customized to the people that are using them, hence, your template. Content [40/40] - Just reading through the few most recent entries, I was instantly attracted to your diary. Also, I hope your dad does get better, I can only imagine how terrible that must be. Normally, I'm against putting lyrics on a diary, BUT you pulled it off, particularly because I like this song. Most of your entries just seem to be an account of your day, but you pull it off. Plus you slip in interesting ideas like here, here, & here. This entry hit really close to home, so I feel I have to put some input in my review about it. I, myself, being a frequent drug user would love to defend my rights & tell you that you're shallow & stupid & only say such things because you have never experienced it, but that's a bunch of crap. The reason a majority of people do drugs is to a] fit in with a certain group of people or b] feel normal, which may sound crazy to you, but it's true, at least that's my reason. I recently stopped using cocaine & decided that it was for the best. I went through withdrawals & I've been sick, but sleep comes a lot easier & I feel better knowing that I can operate without being under the influence of something. You should support your friends in any effort they make in trying to quit. They may resent you, but in the end, it's for the best. Now, back to the review - I can't really say why I was so interested in your diary, but I just found solace in you. You're such a strong & mature individual. I can't say that I would be handling the situations you're enduring so well & I wish you the best of luck with everything. Layout [25/30]- Hm. I do adore it, but the more I investigated, the more things I found that needed a litle altering. I thought the pictures were links, but they're just playthings. I also started to wonder why you didn't make the layout blue to match the pictures. I thought that would have looked better, but pink is nice, as well. As I was searching for the links, I decided to read an entry & figure that out later, but I found the links - at the end of the entry! Why? I guess it's one way to make sure that someone reads your entries, but it's also quite annoying when I was trying to find your contact information & archives page. After reading your 'Design' piece, I decided I wouldn't count off as much for the mistakes. You could have found another design that was easily changed or one that you fancied altogether, but since you didn't & you're unsatisfied with the one you have (only because you can't change things to suit your needs) - I offer my help. I'm not that great at designing, but I know a few of the basics & I can try to organize it into a manner that suits you. Grammar/Spelling/Vocabulary [5/5] - Perfecto! All of it. I can't really say why I chose this song, but it was playing in the background as I was reading a bit & it seemed to be the perfect song to contrast your diary. Three Words - Amazing. Strong. Beautiful. I think your diary title should be - Come Away With Me. You seem to take your reader into your very life & suck them in without them even knowing it. It's like television. Great Job! You're an amazing person & you will get through it, no matter what happens.
